We cannot get enough of Rihanna, and everything dusted in Fenty fairy oozes luxury and that is always good with us. The award-winning musician and entrepreneur gave fans a sneak peek into her second global beauty brand Fenty Skin on Monday.
The skincare line is her newest beauty venture under the luxury brand powerhouse LVMH. Rihanna has flawless skin and to know that this line was inspired by her own skincare journey coupled with her global experiences is all we need to get hooked on to it.
She started with a simple beginner’s skincare routine set for her highly anticipated debut skincare line which launches this Friday exclusively on FentySkin.com.
We all know Rihanna’s Fenty makeup line caters to all skin tones and types, so we did not expect anything less with her skincare line. Her mission with Fenty Skin is to offer effortless solutions for all skin tones and skin types.
This range right here is her concept of ‘the new culture of skincare’ and she presents them to her fans in a simple but sleek environmentally friendly packaging. The products were also made with the crème de la crème ingredients best suited for skincare from around the world including Barbados.
“I wanted it to feel approachable, easy, and to take the pressure off choosing a routine, so I created one for everyone,” she said.
“[M]y skincare journey has been quite complex…some parts of my face are oily, some are dry, fatigue from travel, plus I have super sensitive skin, and chile now being in my 30s?!!” Rihanna shared in a Tweet.
Like Rihanna, many of us still struggled to get that perfect skincare regimen since we were teenagers. So the beauty mogul created Fenty Skin Start’rs, the three 2-in-1 products that are set to help everyone commence their journey to a flawless, healthy-looking skin.
“A lot of people have their own ideas about SPF and who should use it and who shouldn’t, but SPF is for everyone,” Rihanna said in her reveal.
“It was important to me that we formulated products that didn’t have any harmful ingredients and it was also important to me that we didn’t create any excess packaging,” she explained.
“So overall, we’re using less packaging. we’re eliminating boxes wherever we could; we are using recyclable materials whenever we can, and we are also having refillable systems where you just buy the outside packaging once and from there you just keep refilling and you can recycle.”
So let’s get our bank cards ready to grab bad gal Riri’s skincare line this Friday, July 31 as we now know they were specifically formulated to treat our skins just the way they need to.
