New Hampshire
Seek Capital writes: “Businesses in New Hampshire benefit from no state sales tax, but corporate taxes are fairly unfavorable. In general, startup activity in New Hampshire is lower compared to other states. The percentage of the population that starts a new business is much lower-than-average. Startups created fewer jobs in their first year in New Hampshire compared to the national average. Startups in New Hampshire also have difficulty making it through a year of operation, with only 76.86 percent surviving.”
