ART4AID, a not-for-profit organization, will hold a photography exhibit entitled: OLOSHO LE-MAASAI (Maasai Community) at the National Arts Club, 15 Gramercy Park South, New York, on Thursday, November 29th from 6:00-9:00pm.
The exhibit focuses on the Maasai community in Kenya, stressing the importance of education in remote communities around the world.
Proceeds from photographs sold at the exhibit will directly aid a Maasai community in Kenya. “By purchasing photographs, a humanitarian value is added to the art piece as the proceeds go towards helping the communities where the original artwork was created. Art then gains a greater purpose,” said ART4AID founder, Carlo Zande.
