Top 5 African countries with more young people than grandparents

The world’s youngest countries are all in Africa, according to data from the United Nations’ World Population Prospects 2019.

The data shows that Africa has a young population and this could birth great opportunities for the continent, especially with the advent of young Africans doing exceptionally great in different spheres of life across the globe.

But such a large number of young people can also present some challenges in terms of jobs and investments in health, education, among others.

Even though the world’s population is ageing, thanks to some medical technologies, some countries are still disproportionately young.
