The total budget for the movie was between 200 to 220 million dollars and in its first week, the movie has grossed 201 million dollars. Written and directed by Ryan Coogler based on the Black Panther character created by Stan Lee, the Black Panther movie has been described by critiques as the first high budget movie with a black cast bringing diversity to the movie industry. Globally, the movie grossed over 1.4 billion dollars and according to Forbes, it’s the 10th movie to gross over 1.3 billion dollars. The movie is also the highest grossing superhero movie in the U.S.A of all time, according to variety.
