WAN-LUV Summer Music Series

June 20, 2012 (New York, NY)- The WAN-LUV summer music series sponsored by Stonehenge Properties and produced by Hip Hop Saves Lives is here to highlight the best of African and Carribbean music with a special focus on African and Haitian reggae. The early evening concerts on select Thursdays from 6pm-8pm at The Ritz Plaza Firefighters Memorial Park will bring together a festive crowd and include live music, DJs, and special guests.

Producing partners HIP HOP SAVES LIVES, COCODY PRODUCTIONS and NEGUS WORLD put together the after happy hour series of the summer for those craving the African and the Caribbean beat in Manhattan. The Wan-Luv musical line-up includes Brown Rice Family,  Cocody Director Jake Bright. and more.

“We were inspired to produce this series based on requests from our NYC fans to find a location in the heart of Manhattan” said Hip Hop Saves Lives Director Chad Harper. “Lovers of African music and culture now have an after work venue so that will definitely rock.”

“Stonehenge brings a new rhythm to the beat of Manhattan,” says Stonehenge Creative Director Michael Stern. “Our residents come from all over the world to live in Manhattan, and we are dedicated to celebrating this city as a crossroad of multicultural expression.”
