As more African countries are looking to improve their economy and the well-being of their people, they have put in place measures to make sure that entrepreneurs can conduct business without any problems.
However, according to a new report by the World Bank, the ease of doing business in Africa is still on the low. Although the continent reported some of the best reforms in business regulations, its leading country in ease of doing business is ranked 20th globally, meaning that there is still room for improvement.
The Doing Business Report measures 10 indicators: starting a business, dealing with construction permits, getting electricity, registering property, getting credit, protecting minority investors, paying taxes, trading across borders, enforcing contracts and resolving insolvency.
