What awaits rapper Tekashi69 after snitching on Nine Trey gang and naming Cardi B, Jim Jones as members?

Rapper Tekashi69’s kidnapping by a member of his own Nine Trey Bloods gang and his escape from death by the whiskers has stunned many in the hip-hop world.

Even more bizarre is the reality that the foul-talking rapper has become government witness, offering names of gang members and revealing inner workings of the gang.

Tekashi69, born Daniel Hernandez, recently described in the Manhattan Federal Court how he was allegedly kidnapped, robbed and beaten in Brooklyn on July 22, 2018 at the hands of his former friend in the gang, Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Ellison’s friend, identified only as “Sha.”

According to Tekashi, his ordeal began when Ellison rammed a stolen car into his ride at 4 a.m. driven by his driver, Jorge Rivera, at Atlantic Ave. and Bedford Ave.

He said when it dawned on him that he was soon to die, Sha opened the door, pointed a gun at him and asked him to hand over his belongings and get in the ride driven by Ellison, who was also armed.

Although they contemplated killing him, Ellison settled on letting him live if he gave up his expensive jewelry which included a red presidential Rolex, Cuban Links bracelet, and four-diamond rings.

He was also asked to give up his spinning 69 diamond chain, a chain of the Jigsaw character from the movie “Saw” and a $95,000 My Little Pony necklace with his own rainbow-coloured hair.

Tekashi was driven to his home where Sha retrieved the jewelry from the mother of the rapper’s daughter but his attackers didn’t let him out of the car, instead, he was driven for a few more blocks.

Tekashi later jumped from the vehicle around Smurf Village, to escape Ellison shooting him in the back.

Tekashi says he jumped into the backseat of a random car at a nearby stop sign, telling the man “Bro, I’m about to die. Just drive!”

While some rap enthusiasts have denounced Tekashi for being a snitch, others have hailed the rapper for not shielding any of his gang members, especially when he could be slapped with a 47-year sentence if he didn’t take the government deal to be a witness.

Ellison faces charges of kidnapping while other Bloods are on the stand for engaging in illegal business.

According to Buzzfeed, the rapper “cut a deal after being charged with racketeering and drug trafficking crimes for a lighter prison sentence if he cooperated with authorities.”

Kristian Cruz, a Nine Trey drug dealer cooperating with the government, has also named a New York City Police Department (NYPD) sergeant as distributing heroin on his behalf.

Cruz, who rose to a “five-star general” in the Nine Trey Bloods, noted that he hired the sergeant to transport drugs because he believed she would draw less attention from authorities.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) has not publicized the arrest of the female sergeant although she’s been indicted. Robinson is suspended from the NYPD and out on $100,000 bond for a charge of possession of heroin with intent to distribute.

Tekashi has named Cardi B as a member of the Bloods in court, claiming that the singer had made music videos with Bloods in the background.

Tekashi has, meanwhile, pleaded guilty to nine counts of racketeering and other charges but he is counting on receiving a much more lenient sentence thanks to his cooperation.

His former manager, Kifano “Shotti” Jordan, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison. His crimes include an April 3 armed robbery at a Times Square hotel and an April 21 incident which saw Jordan fire two rounds at a rival who was following the Brooklyn rapper’s vehicle.

The many internal squabbles in the Nine Trey Bloods gang exploded into violence on city streets, leading to their bust.

Reports now indicate that Tekashi could enter witness protection after testifying against his former members.
