White American doctor complains of being ‘treated like a black person’ in airport arrest

After showing up at the American Airlines counter at the Orlando International Airport at 6:00 a.m. for a 6:24 a.m. flight on Thursday, Dr. Jeffrey Epstein, 59, was too late to check-in.

After being told he couldn’t board, Epstein proceeded to argue with staff and screamed at police officers who arrived on the scene.

He demanded that the police find him a flight or arrest him.

A resisting Epstein was put in handcuffs and pepper-sprayed, as he complained that he was “being treated like a black person.”

After it was all said and done, Epstein claims there was a method to his madness.

“I was making a point,” he said. “If you’re going to do this to a white doctor, who is 59 years old, for doing nothing, then why should Black people trust you?”

“If I were Black, I’d be terrified,” he continued.

Apparently, he also complained of chest pains and was taken to a nearby hospital. On the way there he admitted to an officer accompanying him that his rouse was planned.

David J. Johns, executive director of the National Black Justice Coalition begs to differ.

“He was condescending. He was rude. Those are all things that black people could never think to do to a police officer and remain standing and or breathing,” Johns explained.

Epstein was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer with violence, trespassing and disorderly conduct.

He was also charged with possession of cannabis of fewer than 20 grams.
