Without a word, ex-NFL player Randy Moss pays homage to victims of police brutality [Photos]

It was all glamorous on Saturday night at the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the person who caught the attention of many without saying a word was former NFL wide receiver Randy Moss who was being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

He made a strong statement with a tie which had 13 names of victims of police brutality who were killed for doing no wrong.

He said on the NFL Network after the ceremony that: “We all know what’s going on. You see the names on my tie. Being able to use a big platform like the Hall of Fame, what I wanted to be able to express with my tie is to let these families know that they’re not alone.”

The names on his tie included 58-year-old Greg Gunn who was shot and killed unarmed, 12-year-old Tamir Rice who was shot and killed by white officer, 28-year-old Akai Gurley, 18-year-old Paul O’Neal, 43-year-old Eric Garner, 25-year-old Freddie Gray, 50-year-old Walter Scott, 28-year-old Sandra Bland, 24-year-old Akiel Denkins, 37-year-old Alton Sterling, 18-year-old Michael Brown, 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, and 29-year-old Brendon Glenn.

Randy Moss has proved that you can speak up without saying a word and everyone needs to speak out about the wrongs in society because it could be you tomorrow.

Moss played 14 seasons in the National Football League (NFL) and holds the NFL single-season touchdown reception record with 23 and is second on the NFL all-time regular season touchdown reception list with 156.
