Cheetah
The cheetah is the world’s fastest mammal, however, the Usain Bolt of the animal kingdom has not been able to outrun poachers and the effects of man’s activities on its natural habitat. The IUCN classifies the cheetah as vulnerable, with estimates putting the numbers of cheetahs remaining in the wild at 10,000 to 15,000.
