10-year-old Victory Brinker is world’s youngest female opera singer

Victory Brinker may just be 10 years old, but she has already been recognized by the Guinness World Records for achieving a remarkable feat with her singing prowess. The young musician was recently confirmed as the world’s youngest opera singer (female).

Victory, who was adopted, is said to have achieved the feat at the age of seven years and 314 days old. That was after she featured in eight professional performances at the Pittsburgh Public Theatre’s Lights and Legends show in 2019.

The young talent, who developed an interest in operatic singing before she turned 6, can impressively reach more than three octaves and also sing in seven different languages.

“My mom taught me how to sing and helps me believe I can do anything,” Victory said. “No matter what I want to do next, she finds a way to help me to do it.  She is always cheering me on.”

Victory is also fondly remembered for earning a Golden Buzzer after she took the stage to perform “Juliet’s Waltz” in season 16 of America’s Got Talent. That achievement made her the first-ever AGT contestant to be granted a unanimous golden buzzer.

And though she may be young, Victory has made a name for herself as a performer as she has featured in television programs including NBC’s Little Big Shots, Dr. Phil and Wonderama. She has also regularly sung the national anthem for the NBA, NFL, and MLB.

Victory’s first album, The Wonder of Christmas, was released during last year’s holiday season. Her mother credits her success to the support she has been receiving from her family. “When we believe in our children, they believe in themselves and can change the world,” her mother said.

Besides singing, Victory also plays the piano. She also wants to go into acting and set more Guinness World Records. The young singer said she hopes her historical achievement will serve as an inspiration to more children.

“You can do it! Just do it one time and you’ll see it’s not so bad,” she said. “I tell myself to give it my all and have fun, and I do!”
