A lot has happened so much when it comes to racism in consumer brands. From racist monkey sweatshirts to blackface hoodies, many black people have vowed to only shop from Black brands. But the ‘buy black’ strategy may present some difficulties as many Black brands are not actually black-owned. Although many of them may have started black-owned, they have not remained so.
