Chobe National Park, Botswana
The Chobe National Park is located in Okavango Delta in Botswana and is known for its four distinct ecosystems. The Savuti Marsh area has the highest population of wildlife in all of Africa.
Chobe Park is estimated to host more than 120,000 elephants and thousands of other wild animals including zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, giraffes, and elands. The park is also home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas.
The best time to visit this park is between April and October when the region is dry and the wild animals are forced to congregate around the Savuti swampland. The park is estimated to cover 4,517 square miles.
