In 2015, Harold Ekeh – a student at Elmont High School and a Nigerian immigrant – was the top student to be accepted into all eight Ivy League Schools. Ekeh chose to join Yale University, where he’s currently studying molecular, cellular and developmental biology. Ekeh was eight years old when his Nigerian parents moved to the United States.
