This holiday season, many African celebrities of the diaspora returned home to their country of birth or that of their parents. In a few cases, such as that of Ghanaian musician Blitz The Ambassador, the stars returned to a country in Africa away from their home countries for the end of year festivities.
The presence of these stars and the stories they are telling about their countries and continent to their millions of followers fares well in doing positive PR for the continent, and this is worth commending.
