Diana Lynch is 1st Black woman CEO to develop an international resort in Dominican Republic

Get to know Diana Lynch. She is leading the way in constructing Samaná Bay Resort, the first Black-owned international golf resort in the Dominican Republic that will be found in Samaná Bay. Lynch, prior to venturing into business, practiced law for 30 years before retiring in 2022. The Brooklyn, New York native, is also a former Navy JAG and a founding member of the award-winning Lynch Law Group in Atlanta.

In the last 25 years, she has represented notables in the sports and entertainment industry and has built a reputation for herself as one of the elite attorneys in Georgia. According to Black Business, Samaná Bay Resort will feature world-class amenities, including a signature golf course, amphitheater and professional sports training, rehabilitation, and medical campus.

The team behind Samaná Bay Resort plans to develop over three thousand acres of prime commercial and residential property with over 1,400 villas, ecovillages and condominiums overlooking the Samaná Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

“With the Dominican Republic’s beautiful beaches, stable economy, the right to own land without citizenship, favourable short-term rental income potential and tax incentives, dual-citizenship opportunities, and leading GDP, it is no wonder CEO Diana and her team have their sights set on bringing the Samaná Peninsula its first 18-hole golf resort,” according to Black business.

Starting the project in Samaná Peninsula, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is historic because the region was once inhabited by freed African slaves in the 1800s.

Leading the way in the construction of Samaná Bay is not the first time Lynch has been involved in real estate. She is also the founder and owner of Atlanta-based development company, Lynch Land Holdings, LLC, which has been involved in the development and management of real estate within the United States for almost two decades.

The CEO for Tempat Sala and her team hope to unveil their Samaná Bay Resort project in March 2023 and are ready to work with entertainers, future landowners, golf lovers and corporate alliances to make the project successful.
