A Drake fan who used furniture money to purchase tickets for his concert was gifted $50,000 by the superstar rapper, Vibe reported. The Certified Lover Boy rapper showed love to the fan during his concert in Las Vegas.
A video of the 36-year-old announcing the monetary gift to the fan after seeing the attendee’s sign was shared on social media. The message on the sign the customer held up stated the individual had used furniture money to purchase two tickets for the rapper’s concert.
“You know what my man. Your furniture money, I’mma give you 50 bands tonight ’cause I love you,” Drake told the fan. “You never know what the person in front of you, left of you, right of you, behind you, is going through.”
Drake’s kind gesture isn’t the first time he has shown love to a fan during his “It’s All A Blur Tour.” During one of his concerts in Los Angeles in August, the Nothing Was The Same rapper gifted a fan an expensive Hermés Birkin bag, Face2Face Africa reported.
In a viral video shared on TikTok, the rapper is seen walking on stage with the pink bag and saying, “Drake ain’t cheap!” The 36-year-old rapper is then seen looking through the audience before pointing at someone. “This girl right here,” he says as he points at the person. “Yeah.”
The Hermés Birkin is one of the most coveted bags in the world. Named in honor of British actress and singer Jane Birkin, some of the luxury handmade leather bags can fetch over $400,000, per PEOPLE. An identical style Drake gifted to the fan at his concert can reportedly cost between $10,000 and $30,000.
Drake is also a known Birkin fan and has shown off his collection in the past. The Canadian rapper told The Hollywood Reporter in 2017 that he has been stocking up the bags for years to hopefully gift them to “the woman I end up with.”
