F2FA Model to Watch: Nyasha Matonhodze

"Living the dream" is real life for Nyasha Matonhodze, a fresh faced-16-year-old from Northampton, UK. She just landed her first major campaign with Louis Vuitton!

Matonhodze was born in Zimbabwe and lived there until she was about eight years old. Nyasha and her family then moved to England. She signed with Elite Model Agency and went on to win the Elite Models Look competition in the UK.

For such a young lady, it is noted that Nyasha conducts herself with the poise and grace of a woman with many more years behind her. She attributes her maturity and wisdom to her parents, citing her mother’s strength and hard work as inspiration for what she hopes to become later in life.

In an interview with New York Magazine, Matonhodze explains that America’s Next Top Model was the catalyst that helped her develop an interest and passion for modeling.
We could all learn from her life motto: “[every] one should be nice to everyone. There's no reason for anyone to feel like they're on top of the world.”

In the future, Nyasha looks forward to continue working with fashion editor, Katie Grand.
