Following her win as Miss Teen USA 2019, Kaliegh Garris gained major popularity for rocking her natural hair during the pageant.
Founder of the We Are People 1st, an NGO that works with people living with disabilities, the teen beauty queen was inspired to start the organisation through her sister who lives with several disabilities.
Kaliegh was born on August 21, 2000, and is currently a dual enrolled student at Joseph A. Foran High School in Milford, Connecticut and the ACES Educational Center for the Arts in New Haven, where she studies theatre. Her goal is to become a nurse. She won Miss Connecticut Teen 2018 which gave her the ticket to compete in the Miss Teen USA 2019.
