Female athlete, Santia Deck, has made history as the only female athlete to sign a multi-million dollar contract with the Women’s Football League Association.
Deck, who is popularly known online as the “Queen of Abs”, has made a name for herself in the fitness and social spaces.
She started out as a collegiate track athlete, then launched her own brand as a celebrity fitness trainer. She wrote and published a book titled ‘The struggle‘ to highlight and bring awareness to child abuse and also produced fitness DVDs.
Deck is inspiring many people on social media with her over 200k followers, empowering public speaking speeches and also addressing relationship issues.
Now Deck has to her name a record-breaking deal with Los Angeles, making her the highest-paid professional female football player.
Beyond being an athlete, and also playing LFL and FLAG football, Deck is also a businesswoman and a TV talk show host. Her syndicated talk show, Queen of Abs Fitness Show is available in various US markets, The Netherlands, South East Asia, Germany, India, Africa, and Austria.
Reportedly, she is also slated to be one of the cast members of a new reality show, FLEXX from Osage Phoenix Productions which is set to air via Amazon Prime.
The talented athlete, who was born in Greenville, wants the next generation of young women to know that they can follow their dreams, and they can also create new paths and healthy income streams in the process.
“I have had many ups and downs in the sports world, but to know that I’m now the highest-paid female football player to date only confirms how God always has a plan,” she said.
At age seven, Deck was enrolled in a summer track program and has been running since then. She received her certification through the AAAI -American Aerobic Association International.
The WFLA held a draft in Vegas where it is offering the first ever multi-million dollar contracts to football’s women athletes and Deck happened to be deemed worthy of a large sum.
The WFLA debut season is set for 2021 with an exhibition tour beginning in May of 2020.
The Atlanta-based athlete travels the country hosting workshops and fitness events. She speaks to groups of women, children and anyone on the need for increased confidence, health, and self-determination.
