Wharton Africa Business Forum Hosts ‘My Africa Story’ Discussion

On November 13 to 15, the Wharton Africa Business Forum (WABF) will host its 23rd annual conference, the longest running student-organized Africa-focused business discussion. With this year’s theme: “My Africa StoryLessons in business, visions for impact,” WABF will be a platform for present and emerging leaders in business, entrepreneurship, and social enterprise to provide deep insights into their areas of expertise by sharing their unique experiences doing business, starting ventures, and creating impact in Africa.

Through these stories, we aim to highlight the unique challenges present, showcase the massive opportunities that exist, and provide case studies of impact creation in Africa to inspire a vision and path for the continent’s future.

The highly distinguished set of speakers include Hakeem Belo-Osagie (Chairman, Etisalat Nigeria), Mosunmola Abudu (Founder, EbonyLife TV), Colin Coleman (Managing Partner- Sub Saharan Africa, Goldman Sachs), and many more.

The forum will also be a platform for our guests to connect with like-minded individuals and share ideas with business partners as well as provide an opportunity for individuals to network with potential employees during the career fair.

WABF attendees will be able to leave the conference with tangible blueprints, applicable lessons, inspiration and insights to be leveraged as they continue to craft their own Africa stories.
