When the former president of Gambia, Yahya Jammeh left the country, many people all over the world welcomed the news.
He had lost an election in December 2016, conceded defeat but immediately made a turnabout and refused to step down. He had to leave the country after the troops from the Economic Community of West African States threatened to oust him.
Jammeh was headed to Equatorial Guinea, on the invite of President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
Reports indicate that Jammeh is currently living big at one of President’s Obiang’s palaces in Mongomo.
He is also currently engaged in farming, with pictures showing him weeding and inspecting his farms.
Questions abound as to why Jammeh is enjoying his life when the people who had suffered under his rule have still not received justice.
Here are the top five reasons, Jammeh should be in jail.
