Dancing is beneficial in many ways. It improves your health; it tones your muscles and even makes you agiler. In Africa dancing has its own place in our culture, and it is one of the revered forms of expression by many.
Over the years, new dancing styles from South Africa’s gwara gwara, to Nigeria’s Shoki and shaku shaku to Kenya’s odi dance have been created to not only rhyme with the times but to highlight the new innovative ways Africa is expressing itself.
Fortunately, there is enough music churning out to get people dancing to their heart’s fill.
