Gabrielle Union unveils haircare line we can all afford

Gabrielle Union has given us another reason to love her. The 47-year-old actress has just announced that she will be relaunching her haircare line, Flawless by Gabrielle Union, next month with every item being priced at $10 or less.

Union originally launched the line in 2017 to help those with textured tresses, after several rounds of IVF left her dealing with premature balding.

Now, the “Bad Boys 2” star has teamed up with her personal hairstylist, Larry Sims, to relaunch the haircare line, this time better, “majority Black-owned” and affordable.

Announcing the line on Instagram, Union wrote: “I am BEYOND excited to finally be able to talk about the launch of @flawlessbygu.”

“Larry & I collaborated on an amazingly affordable line of products for textured hair, protective styles, & wigs. It was super important for us to create an elevated line with beautiful natural ingredients while still making the price point accessible to EVERYONE despite your social or economic status. EVERYTHING in the line is between $4 – $10 with luxurious results.”

Some of the products which will be available to purchase on Amazon when the collection launches on August 3 are Hydrating Detangling Shampoo, 3 Minute Restoring Conditioner, Hydrating Co-Wash Cleansing Conditioner, and Repairing Deep Conditioning Masque.

“Hydrated hair is healthy hair and our collection delivers the nourishment that your hair needs! We’ve infused each product with moisture-rich ingredients like Brazilian Bacuri oil, Himalayan Moringa oil, and African Shea Butter, which promote shine and elasticity,” Flawless’s new Instagram account says.

The haircare line was expected to relaunch in March but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
