Boyfriend of missing North Carolina woman Allisha Watts found unconscious in her SUV

The police have made a significant step in unraveling the whereabouts of a North Carolina woman, Allisha Watts, who went missing on July 16. Her boyfriend was found by state troopers inside her vehicle at the Department of Motor Vehicles office in Anson County last week.

Watts, the missing 39-year-old woman, was heading to a comedy show in Charlotte to visit her new boyfriend, James Dunmore when she disappeared, her family said. She was driving her black 2023 Mercedes Benz GLC 300, possibly towards Moore County, her hometown.

Watts’ family reported her missing, and their concerns intensified when her boyfriend, Dunmore, was found unresponsive inside her vehicle at the Department of Motor Vehicles office in Anson County.

State troopers discovered Dunmore unconscious in the SUV on July 18, and the vehicle was towed to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police headquarters for a thorough search for evidence. However, Watts was not found during the search of the vehicle or the surrounding area.

The situation has been distressing for Watts’ family and friends, who have been pleading for information about her whereabouts. Her friend, Learen Blue, described the past week as a nightmare and emphasized Watts’ involvement in various community organizations and her commitment to helping others, according to WCNC.

Watts is the CEO of Inspired Visions Support Services, Inc., a company that offers disability services in multiple North Carolina counties. Her community involvement has made her a vital figure to those she has supported and worked with.

Authorities are urging anyone with information on Watts’ location to contact 911. The investigation is ongoing, and her loved ones are desperately hoping for her safe return.
