A man suspected of participating in an armed robbery in Beverly Hills led police on a high-speed chase Wednesday, which he live-streamed on Instagram. The suspect’s girlfriend and their infant child were in the backseat during the pursuit.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed on Thursday that the man they arrested is one of three suspects involved in the robbery, according to TMZ.

News helicopters captured the dramatic police chase from above as the suspect live-streamed the tense moments from behind the wheel.

Inside the cramped car, the man can be seen frantically searching for an escape route while his girlfriend, in a panic, screams at him to pull over and think of their baby. Throughout the chase, the woman alternates between pleading, berating, and sobbing as the man insists he doesn’t want to return to jail.

She repeatedly asks him to surrender to the police. After much convincing, he finally pulls over. Exiting the car, the man hugs the woman and baby, kisses her, and then kneels before being handcuffed by police. All three are taken into custody.

Police arrested two men immediately following the armed robbery, but the third suspect was picked up by his girlfriend and led officers on a high-speed chase across Los Angeles.

The pursuit ended when they arrested him on a dead-end street in a West Los Angeles neighborhood.
