This is how much ‘Who TF Did I Marry’ TikTok star Reesa Teesa has really earned from her viral videos

Tareasa Johnson, popularly known to her TikTok followers as Reesa Teesa, recently spoke extensively about her rise to stardom, which was sparked by her 50-part series, “Who TF Did I Marry?”

The New Jersey native described the deceit and misery she went through with her ex-husband, “Legion,” in the brief snippets that she started uploading in February. By the time she finished recording the series, which lasts more than eight hours, her follower count had risen from 8,000 to 300,000. By March 4, it was at 3.6 million, with part one of the series having 39 million views, according to The Cut.

Reesa Teesa’s 3.6 million followers on TikTok spurred debate about how much money she’s made from her exposure. The TikTok star emphasized in an interview with The Cut recently that she has not received $100,000 through TikTok’s creator fund, as some had hypothesized, and that she has only received less than $5,000.

After the debut of her TikTok series, she said that corporations seemed to think she would be an easy goal since they “saw a woman who was really naïve, who made bad, bad decisions. I think on some level they were banking on, ‘Is she still dumb?’ I felt they did not take me seriously until I had to name-drop that I have an attorney.”

Reesa Teesa has received calls from sponsors, in addition to other benefits and appearances on programs like “Good Morning America” and “Tamron Hall Show.” Her lawyer also thinks she could make $2 million this year and $4 million in 2025.

Fans also paid for her vacation to London and Paris, where Reesa Teesa’s ex had promised to take her, and Hilton will be covering her hotel stay, while Delta offered her a free travel credit.

Reesa Teesa did, however, point out that she still has a 9-to-5 job in law enforcement because she understands how short fame can be.

“As quickly as this has happened is as quickly as you will find yourself on your ass. No job, no money, no friends, because you were feeling yourself too much because you ended up on Good Morning America,” she expressed.
