Former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and wife Ciara have reportedly spent $25 million on a mansion, said to be the most expensive single-family home sold in Denver-area history.

They beat the previous record for the most expensive home in the area, which was held by former Broncos coach Mike Shanahan. He purchased his 13-bedroom home for $15.7 million.

Wilson’s purchase of the gorgeous mansion comes after he was traded to the Denver Broncos, ending his 10-year career with the Seattle Seahawks, according to TMZ.

“While Russell made it clear he wanted this change, he made Seattle proud and we are grateful for his decade of leadership on and off the field,” Jody Allen, chair of the Seattle Seahawks, said in a statement regarding the trade.

“We look forward to welcoming our new players and to everyone being fully engaged while working our hardest to win every single day. I trust our leadership to take us into the future, and know we all wish Russell the very best.”

Wilson’s new mansion located in Cherry Hills Village is 20,060 square feet and occupies 5.34 acres. It has four bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a pool, game room, home theatre, a nine-car garage and a large fireplace perfect for Colorado’s winters.

Wilson has listed for sale his Bellevue mansion for $28 million.
