Aquaman and Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa has been married to fellow actress, Lisa Bonet, for fourteen years and he still, till date, counts himself lucky – which he rightfully should.
In an interview with Esquire for its November 2019 cover story, the 40-year-old star revealed he had a crush on his 51-year-old wife when he saw her on The Cosby Show in Hawaii. He was only 8-years-old at that time, but boy, did he develop a taste for the finest things at an early age.
According to Momoa, Bonet was “literally” his childhood crush, jokingly adding: “I mean, I didn’t tell her that. I didn’t let her know I was a stalker until after we had the kids.”
This isn’t the first time Momoa has opened up about him jokingly “stalking” Bonet. In a 2017 appearance on The Late Show with James Corden, he revealed how he told his mum he wanted Bonet, who played Denise Huxtable on The Cosby Show when he saw her on TV.
“Ever since I was like, 8 years old and I saw her on the TV, I was like, ‘Mommy, I want that one,’” he said. “I’m like, ‘I’m going to stalk you for the rest of my life and I’m going to get you.’”
Well, he got her, eventually.
About letting her know he used to stalk her, he said: “I didn’t tell her that until we had two babies, otherwise, I’d be creepy and weird,” he confessed. “But yeah, just always wanted to meet her. She was a queen, always.”
Going strong with two beautiful and adorable kids, Lola, 12, and Nakoa-Wolf, 10, Momoa, who stars in upcoming Apple TV+ dystopian series See, shared Bonet is testament to dreams turning to reality.

“If someone says something isn’t possible,” he told Esquire. “I’m like, ‘Listen here, I married Lisa Bonet. Anything is f**ing possible.’”
