‘I love him’ – Tiffany Haddish confirms relationship with Common, says it’s the best ever

Tiffany Haddish has been “off the market” for a while now and she just confirmed those swirling rumors about being romantically involved with veteran rapper and actor, Common, to be actually true.

Appearing on Steve-O’s Wild Ride! podcast last week, the Eritrean-American actress and comedian revealed she’s in a relationship with the Glory rapper when she was talking about her reasons for shaving her head last month and how her new beau took it.

“I am in a relationship,” the Girls Trip star confirmed when co-host, Scott Randolph, asked if she was now dating. She also gave the affirmative when Steve-O asked if it was the person we’ve always rumored to be.

“Yeah, we’re twins now,” Haddish, 40, said. “I’ve been talking about cutting my hair for years and then when I went to the doctor, it kind of like solidified it like ‘yeah I should probably just, I’m just gonna cut it all off.’ He said it was beautiful,” she revealed, adding: “He’s like, ‘Wow, you did it man. You’ve got a lot of courage. You look so beautiful. I love it.’ And I’m like, ‘Ahh, put your head on my head.’”

Haddish and Common, 48, met while on the set of 2019 movie, The Kitchen. According to the actress, they only established a friendship at that time, saying it wasn’t “anything sexual or anything like that because her “eyes were set on something else.” She revealed their relationship blossomed and they only became a pair after they had a virtual date on Bumble in April to help raise funds for front-line workers amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Things eventually took off from there.

“At this point, our friendship was getting a little more than friendship, but not quite. During quarantine, we were FaceTiming all the time,” she said. “And then he got tested for everything [COVID-19], I got tested for everything, and yeah, we’ve been f*cking,” she jokingly added.

Rumors of the two being an item began circulating a few months back after they were seen cozying up and hanging out together on virtual events, including their Bumble hangout, as well as, Janet Jackson’s birthday celebration that was hosted by Questlove on Instagram. The couple were also spotted at a Black Lives Matter protest in Los Angeles.

“This is hands down the best relationship I’ve ever been in. Knock on wood! I’ve lost 20 pounds since I’ve been in this relationship,” Haddish said. “I feel more confident in me and it’s not him that’s doing it. I’m just way happier and it’s, like, knowing I got somebody that cares about me, that really has my back. It seems like he does anyways. And I love it. I love him.”
