A TikTok mom, Maddie Houser Webb, is fighting off doubts from netizens on whether her two sons are related. Posting under the username @houserwebbfamily, she shared a video in October answering common questions about her sons, Jaden, 15, and Callum, 3, to dispel any confusion.

“Are those both your sons?” text across the video reads. Giving a thumbs up, Maddie, Jaden, and Callum answer together, “Yep.”

“Is one of them adopted?” the next message reads. “Nope,” they say.

In the TikTok video, Maddie sought to address the many questions about her sons. She confirmed that both sons were born to her biologically as she forcefully dispelled speculation about a possible adoption, as reported by People.

Maddie and her family dismissed concerns about others’ opinions and found amusement in the situation. Maddie captioned the post, “After 1000s of comments I figured we would clear this one up for you all. 🙃”

“Do we worry about others’ opinions?” the family continues, then replying, “Nope.” “Are we cracking up at how weird people are?” “Yep.”

In an interview with People, Maddie explained that her two sons are biologically related.

“My husband and I are Mom and Dad to them both. My sons are technically maternal half-brothers. But we would never say ‘half,’ ” she added.

Maddie acknowledged that her family was receiving attention on social media regarding the appearance of her children but noted that many other families share similar dynamics.

The proud mom observed that despite the age difference, her two sons share a close bond and spend ample time together as a family.

“The boys love to shoot hoops together and watch movies. Cal cheers Jaden on at his sports games and meets. We also travel a lot as a family, so they go on lots of adventures.”
