7. Maasai
Located in southern Kenya and northern Tanzania, the Maasai are believed to be over 3,000 years old. They speak the Maa language and are about 900,000 in population. The Maasai people have become one of Kenya’s tourist attractions.
They are usually clothed in colourful outfits and still practice most of their ancient beliefs. They are notably known for their warriors who made a name for themselves during the Maasai heights in the 19th century for wielding and throwing clubs (orinka) over 100 meters (328 feet) to their opponents.
