Arizona Diamondbacks star Ketel Marte revealed that his items valued at around $400,000 were stolen in a burglary at his Scottsdale home during the All-Star break.

Per the New York Post, Marte touched on the July 15 burglary after their 5-3 win against the Cardinals on Sunday. The 31-year-old three-time All-Star, who hails from the Dominican Republic, said that he was at his hotel in Atlanta when he learned about the robbery. Marte was in the city with other baseball stars for the All-Star game.

“Not good to know you lose around $400,000, but you just gotta move on,” Marte said via a translator.

Per The Associated press, the stolen items included personal belongings and jewelry. Nothing also indicated that there was a forced entry, and Marte’s home was unoccupied at the time of the burglary, authorities said.

Marte, who is a second baseman, was on Friday placed on a restricted list by his team. “He’s dealing with a personal issue, so he asked for some time off, time away, just to get grounded and get himself back to where he can come back here and play and be a force for us,” Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said on Friday. “So it’s kind of a day-to-day situation.”

Marte, however, said that he was going to be available for their game against the Astros. The burglary also adds up to other setbacks the 31-year-old has experienced in recent times.

During their June 24 game against the White Sox, Marte was seen crying after a heckler said something about his deceased mother Elpidia Valdez. She was involved in a fatal car crash in their native Dominican Republic in 2017.

“What happened was in the seventh inning, I came to bat. I’m ready at the plate and I hear this fan shouting. He was on top of the dugout,” Marte said after the incident, per the New York Post. “He yelled at me, saying stuff about my mom. He was like, ‘I sent your mom a text last night.’ When everything happened with my mom, I was here in Chicago. I was in this city.”
