In the midst of the coronavirus, singer Alicia Keys has paid tribute to frontline workers with her new song, “Good Job.”

“You’re doing a good job, don’t get too down, the world needs you now, know that you matter, matter, matter, yeah,” she sings.

Keys originally wrote the song months ago to recognize the unsung heroes in her own life but in the wake of the pandemic, she reworked the song to apply to all the unsung heroes risking their lives to save others.

“Whether you’re on the front lines at the hospital, balancing work, family and home-school teaching, delivering mail, packages or food, or facing other personal difficulties because of COVID-19, I feel you,” the 15-time Grammy winner said in a news release Wednesday. “You are seen, loved and deeply appreciated.”
