The hopefulness of 2016 vs the potential darkness post-2020

The former president also contrasted the hopeful buoyancy of his administration and the possible worst that could happen under a second Trump term.

Obama speaks of how a fallible country with an imperfect constitution has for centuries chiseled its rough edges and harnessed its best potentials. But the walk towards a more perfect union has been led by presidents who believed in the “North Star” of America. Trump’s presidency a diversion away from the American promise.
