The Ruins Of Djemila

The ruins of Djemila is located in North Algeria. The place was established in between 96 to 98 AD during the rule of emperor Nerva in Rome. This city known to be a sprawling Roman City was occupied until the sixth century. It however suffered heavy devastation during the Arab invasion. The city was subsequently abandoned in the 8th century.
