Magnetic eyelashes are here to offer a better alternative to traditional ones

I am a total novice to this whole makeup game and one thing that I try not to venture when glamming up is applying my own lashes. It’s either they end up being lopsided or I lose a lash when I take them off or I apply too much glue and overcompensate with mascara.

The list is endless but I must admit it adds that oomph to the whole makeup ensemble. That is why I am elated that someone somewhere has addressed the eyelash shenanigans many of us experience with the introduction of a magnetic lash.

Magnetic lashes are gradually gaining ground, and some makeup gurus swear by them. Application is very simple; all you need to do is place them on your lash line after applying the magnetic eyeliner that comes with them, then voila! You are good to go.

No one is raining on the parade of traditional lashes because when applied correctly, you certainly look like a goddess with every blink. What the magnetic ones tend to have over the traditional ones are that you can wear them without worrying about one falling out or getting the glue into your eye or having them stick to your natural lashes.

They are reusable and offer more longevity than regular strip lashes.

“Take the KISS Magnetic Eyeliner & Lask Kit lure for example. All you have to do is line your lashline with the KISS Magnetic Eyeliner and wait a few seconds for the formula to dry. Once dry, apply the strip eyelash and your eyes are set. Best of all, these lashes are reusable and they last for up to 16 hours.”

This is what newbies like me have been seeking since we joined the makeup geng. To take the magnetic lashes off, all you need to do is dab your cotton swab with an oil-based makeup remover and gently wipe your lash line. You will immediately see the magnetic lashes loosen up.

This viral eyelash hack was tested by famous YouTuber and beauty influencer Jackie Aina.

I know some conservative people will stick with traditional lashes and others will jump on to this wagon. Give the magnetic lashes a try and let us know how you like them.
