Sven Thieme is the executive chairman and leading shareholder of Ohlthaver & List (O&L), which was founded by his grandfather, Werner List. Today, the company has grown to become the largest private-owned conglomerate in Namibia.
The firm owns Namibia Breweries Limited – the largest producer of beverages in the country, Namibia Dairies – the country’s largest dairy company, and hotel group – O & L Leisure Namibia, among other companies, Forbes reported. Additionally, the company has over 5,000 workers and records an annual revenue of $400 million.
