One task black people in the West do not choose but inevitably have to do is defend their way of life which many Europeans and Americans may not be enthused about. That is what Senegalese soccer star Sadio Mane does.
The Liverpool FC forward who is a Muslim has shone on the pitch ever so brightly since moving to England from Austria. Mane’s soccer prowess, combined with his amazing personality, is helping cultivate a positive response to Islam in England.
In 2019, he was voted the fourth-best soccer star on the planet. But even ultimate winner Lionel Messi said he thought Mane’s deserved better than fourth place.
