A recent report by Bloomberg highlighted how Morocco surpassed its North African neighbor, Egypt, to clinch the top spot. With the country set to host the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, it anticipates another surge in visitors. Also, as a co-host for the FIFA World Cup alongside Spain and Portugal in 2030, Morocco projects receiving 26 million tourists—a 50% increase from 2024.
