Preserved very well in the heart of the Apartheid Museum in Soweto is the Mercedes Benz biome fantasy abstract S Class S500 W126 owned by one of Africa’s and the world’s most celebrated figures, Nelson Mandela. The red S Class S500 W126 at the time was one of the most expensive cars in the world after it was first released in 1979. The car was given to Nelson Mandela as a gift from Mercedes workers in the country after his release from Prison.
