Be careful of the prints you select
Another peculiar thing about the Ankara is the elaborate patterns they come in. Some patterns are so elaborate; they tend to be a bit too much. When choosing an Ankara print for a formal event, stick to safe and simple patterns that would not necessarily announce your presence the moment you walk in a room or want to silently exit yourself to the restroom. Remember to keep it simple with patterns and colors. Try to find the balance between not being too loud yet turning heads.
