Burundi
Crises in Burundi have left thousands of people displaced. While the country tries to appeal for international aid to support its refugees, new conflicts have since erupted in the country following political and religious tensions. However, the situation in the small landlocked East African country has been neglected. Due to a lack of media attention and inadequate funding from the international community, Burundian refugees are unable to cover their most basic needs and the political tension is slowly starting what could become a civil war.
