With 2019 being the year of Carnivals, there is so much noise and promotion of various carnivals from all over the Caribbean. While several people do love to fly over to an island for a great time to witness the colourful and unending carnivals, we at Face2Face Africa do understand that not everyone is a fan of carnivals.

In the light of that, we have put together a list of festivals that you can attend this summer that are not carnivals but are sure to catch your interest .

Ranging from food to literature, here are some of the biggest alternative festivals to attend if you will find yourself in the Caribbean.
