Paul Brunson is a content creator and an entrepreneur who started his journey from a humble beginning. As a vblogger, he barely could get 11 views but he remained consistent in putting out more captivating videos.

Unbeknownst to him, one of the most influential global Black celebrities, Oprah Winfrey, was among the few people who watched his videos. Winfrey got to know Brunson through one of his past clients when he was doing pro bono matchmaking.

At the time, Winfrey was launching a new TV show and wanted a fresh voice on the show. After watching a couple of Brunson’s videos, she had no hesitation in settling on him as the most suitable person for the project.

He became a co-host of OWN’s “Lovetown, USA,” a TV reality documentary. “Paul is much more than a matchmaker, he’s a life coach,” Winfrey said in the past.

Today, Brunson is one of the most influential matchmakers and an expert for “Married at First Sight UK,” a love-matching tv series on UK Channel Four. The TV series, according to Metro, is becoming Channel 4’s most successful show of 2022 after completely smashing rating charts following its dramatic seventh series.

The show matches total strangers together by experts Brunson, Charlene Douglas, and Mel Schilling.

“The series, which saw just one couple, Jenna Robinson and Zoe Clifton, leave the experiment together, amassed a whopping 51.7million views on All 4’s streaming platform, making it the network’s biggest hit in 2022,” according to Metro.

Brunson, 48, has a degree in business and launched his own matchmaking firm the PCB Agency in 2009. He describes himself as “the world’s most influential matchmaker” on his website.

According to the Sun, “[Brunson] is best known for his role as a love doctor on Celebs Go Dating and bestselling book ‘It’s Complicated (But It Doesn’t Have to Be): A Modern Guide to Finding and Keeping Love’”.

“I spent nearly a decade working for two billionaires, co-founder of Endmost Therapy, a team of world-class psychotherapists and psychologists, host two television shows, and share my experiences and the journey of others in business, life, and love through my Better With Paul podcast, newsletter, and community,” he says on his website.

Indeed, besides Oprah Winfrey Network, Brunson has appeared on Good Morning America, The TODAY Show and The Wendy Williams Show. The entrepreneur and TV presenter is married with two sons, Liam and Kingston. He met his wife Jill while attending Old Dominion University in Virginia, USA.
