Ange Kagame, the second child and only daughter of Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame finally tied the knot in a lavish and private wedding ceremony held over the weekend.
The strictly-by-invitation event, which was held at the Intare Conference Arena in Kabuga Town was attended by family, friends as well as well-wishers, according to The Star.
Ange married Bertrand Ndengeyingoma, an urban planner who is a graduate from the London School Economics having received a Masters in City Planning. Ange, born in Brussels in 1993, is a political science graduate from Smith College, Massachusetts.
The newlywed couple had their traditional marriage ceremony known as “Gusaba” at President Kagame’s country home in Ntebe last year.
Taking to Twitter to share family photos of the wedding ceremony including her father walking her down the aisle, Ange couldn’t help but share her excitement.
““I have found the one whom my soul loves”– Songs of Solomon 3:4,” she captioned in the first photo which was of her and Bertrand holding hands.
She also shared group photos with her parents and siblings as well as her husband’s. Take a look at them below:
