The death of Ebony Reigns has been a shock, to say the least. Death is inevitable, nevertheless, when it strikes a person who is young and whose future looks so bright, it is harder to accept.
Music star Ebony Reigns, real name Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, left a void in the hearts of many Ghanaians when she died in a car crash on Thursday night in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
The rising dancehall and Afrobeats artist was returning from Sunyani, the capital of the Brong Ahafo Region when her car crashed into a bus killing her, a friend and a security man. Her driver is reported to be unconscious.
2017 was Ebony’s breakthrough after releasing “Poison”, “Date Your Fada”, “Sponsor” and “Maame Hw3” which addressed the domestic violence problem in the country.
Here are some reactions to the young star’s unfortunate demise:
Saddened by the news of the death of the young, but extremely talented female artiste, Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, aka Ebony Reigns.
