Janelle Monaè just debuted the video for her new single named “PYNK” and it’s definitely an ode to women and our glorious features.
It is part of the soon-to-be-released album titled “Dirty Computer,” which promises us a better look at the eclectic artist.
Monaè revealed to Beats 1, “I know that there are a lot of things that I haven’t discussed and I think this is the album that you’ll get an opportunity to get a closer glimpse into my mind and into my heart.”
The Grammy-nominated singer offers “a brash celebration of creation, self-love, sexuality, and pussy power!” and goes to explain, “PYNK is the color that unites us all, for pink is the color found in the deepest and darkest nooks and crannies of humans everywhere. PYNK is where the future is born.”
The sultry chemistry between her and her co-star in the video as well as the visual are promised to be an attention grabber and eye-catcher.
Born Janelle Monáe Robinson in Kansas City, Kansas, the 32-year-old singer, actress, rapper, model and producer debuted in 2007 with “Metropolis: Suite I (The Chase). She has since released two studio albums and appeared in the films “Moonlight” and “Hidden Figures.”
This year she’ll be starring in the film, “The Women of Marwen.”
