FIRST SUNDAY

As the saying goes desperate situations call for desperate measures. But how desperate do we have to be to steal from God’s house.

Two best friends Durell and Leejohn, both bumbling petty criminals are told they have one week to pay a debt or Durell will lose his son. In desperation, they scheme to rob their neighborhood church.

But do they have the tools and courage to carry out a robbery? And will it turn out okay, although their heist doesn’t go according to plan as there are a few too many people at the church they thought will be empty, and if the money they are betting on hasn’t been taken already.

Between the struggle is a comedic view of what happens when one is pushed to the edge and forced to do what they hate just to survive.
